Lovely room with balcony overlooking the ski runs. Warm welcome. Good buffet breakfast
Very difficult to find because of the profusion of one way streets in the town

Nestled amidst tranquil surroundings in the hills, this hotel is perfect for those seeking a quiet getaway. the location offers a refreshing escape from the hustle-bustle of the touristy areas. You can take a stroll through the woods, take a ride on the Harz railways or explore the interesting area nearby. the rooms are clean and spacious, while the breakfast offers an array of options.
The noise outside the hotel can be bothersome as the cleanup crew works early in the morning, disturbing guests.

The location. It is next to the forest and close enough to the city. Good place to get a bit of both, relaxation and nature, but also the option to use services from the city.

The breakfast was good. The parking in front of the hotel is good.
The window faced a steep uphill, so no view from our room. Location is remote from the town center.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money - the prices were very reasonable for what was offered. Secondly, the staff was attentive and provided excellent service. They were friendly and helped me with any questions or requests I had. The basic amenities in the room were of a high standard and there was a large variety of choices available. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and had a wide selection of options to choose from.
Everything was great, no improvements needed.

The breakfast was absolutely delightful, with a good variety of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the freshly squeezed juices and the sparking wine. The hotel's location near the woods made for a tranquil and quiet stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The room was quite small and dimly lit, with a disappointing view of a hillside. the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to get a good night's sleep, and the noise from outside was quite disruptive.

Ideal location for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Rooms are fairly basic and quite small but clean. Breakfast was very good and staff in restaurant were very good.

We liked our bar manager called Alexandra. She was very pleasant and helpful particularly with our German attempts at conversation. The breakfasts were excellent. We will recommend the hotel to our friends.

Friendliness of all staff. They were extremely helpful throughout the weekend.
Free Mini bar included soft drinks only. Despite advertising free international landline telephone calls on the website, this was not possible from the room phone, and when we contacted reception they did not know anythin about the "free calls", so we did feel slightly mislead on this.

The view from the hotel is stunning, with the opportunity to walk up a nearby ski slope to take in the beautiful scenery. the staff are also friendly and helpful, offering good service and communication in English. the rooms are very clean and tidy, with a comfortable environment to relax in after a busy day.
To the stay. the limited menu at the restaurant was disappointing, and breakfast could have used a bit more variety.

Very friendly staff. Good restaurant. A lot of facilities for the money. Our room had a good view of the Wernigerode castle. Walking distance to the town centre (if you don't mind a steep hill).
